New blog post! More than four years later…well, I guess you can always begin new. As a ghostwriter, I’m always behind the gun with due dates, but it seems I never set that “due date” standard I have for my clients with my personal writing. Yes, believe it or not, I do write for myself as well. That brings me to the theme of this post: beginning anew with due dates.
I have never masked my belief in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost – I say that to say this. This past weekend I attended the Peninsular Florida Women’s Ministry (PF Women) Conference “Thrive.” The first speaker, Tammy Trent, was an excellent speaker and storyteller with a powerful message of hope. The first speaker of day two was the PF Women’s Leader, Deanna Shrodes, who reminded us that if God shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel what will He do for us! And then enters the Friday night service stage right. Evangelist Joyce Rogers brought a powerful Word. She prophesied over so many women that night reminding us that when we struggle God moves in to guide us, and we should declare whatever we have need of that in Jesus name “It is already done!”
Joyce pointed her finger directly at the audience and said some of us here have not stepped out in the fullness of God’s plan for our lives. I felt she spoke to me directly, and as hard as it is to explain, I felt in my spirit that I’m on the right path – speechwriting, legislative affairs, perusing my Masters – but I’ve neglected one thing: writing for Jesus. So, this post is the “beginning anew,” and each Wednesday a new blog post will be available for everyone – if I even have any followers – to read.
Look for great things to come – and tune in tomorrow for the first of beginning anew!
