Peace In The Margins

Over Valentine’s Day weekend, my hubby planned an action packed photo-focused getaway, and the final stop of the excursion was the Tampa Bay Chocolate Festival! I mean, what gal doesn’t want chocolate on Valentine’s Day? And without a doubt the word of the day was COLOR!

With so many food trucks and vendors to explore, color was not in short supply. What makes bright and colorful subjects so much fun to capture is the lack of postproduction needed to render a final product.

So, for point of reference, I only shot with my Nikon D700 and my 85mm f/1.8 during this event. Interesting subjects abounded, and I had a fabulous time! And as a side note, the cotton candy from Twisted Creations was to die for!
