It seems I am always making a New Year’s intention to blog more often, and apparently this year is no different. What makes this year any different, you might ask – the difference is that this year I will be blogging for me.
You see, the past few years I have blogged to build an audience. While that is normally a high priority for most bloggers, one must first find their purpose and voice in the blogging community. So, as I attempt to “do better” when comes to contributing to the blogging collective, I will not be boxing myself into any scheduled post deadlines. I will, instead, post when inspiration strikes and focus more on quality over quantity.
Posts will still be book and writer focused, but don’t look for a regular post schedule.
To that end, who has heard of the 52 Book Club Challenge? A member of my Loosely Bound book club (not a public club) recently brought it to my attention, and several of us in the club are planning to work through the challenge. Look for bookish posts on this theme and potentially a year end wrap-up for this challenge – and check out their website and Facebook group for more information on the challenge.
Have you set reading goals for 2021? I’d love to hear about them! Drop me a comment below, and happy reading!
