The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston

“The universe sends you the things you need exactly when you need them.” And The Dead Romantics was exactly what the Universe delivered.

This story is Six Feet Under meets Ghost Whisperer with an angsty (is that even a word) romance thrown in for good measure.

This is easily one of the best books I’ve read this year. I expected a fluffy, pallet cleanser read as I patiently wait for the next Tessier book to be released. Instead I got a love story told with the most lyrical-prose I’ve recently read in contemporary romance. I’m so glad I listened to this one because the words deserve to be heard, to drip from lips, to vibrate in your soul.

It’s a story of life and death and dreams unfulfilled that is overflowing with joy, tears, laughter, and grief…and in the end you’ll have the opportunity to decide for yourself if romance is indeed dead or alive.

If you’re on the fence – jump off and read it now. If it is sitting on your TBR – move that bad-boy to “READ NEXT.”

I’m sure I’ll find myself returning to this book as one of my much loved comfort reads. And Ms. Poston…thank you. I did indeed find myself in your book.
